Methodological guide of TOUR FR(I)END project

Part A

If you realise the importance of inclusiveness and you care about DHH people then you should read and share this guide. In this guide you will find an overview of what do we mean by deaf culture and the percentages of DHH people in France, Greece, Cyprus, Belgium and Italy. It also includes information on Institutions that help DHH people skill development and job acquirement in the aforementioned countries. Several types of communication channels between DHH are presented along with explanation as to why some are going to be used in this project and some not. The impact of the tourism sector in the partner countries is further discussed followed by specific examples of public and private sector initiatives for accessibility of DHH in 5 EU countries. 

The Part A of this guide presents 5 small surveys that have been done in the countries of the consortium to get an initial idea on existing attitudes and skills of young hearing people concerning sign Language and training tools. It concludes with the expected results and impact of the project.

Part B of this Methodological Guide is analysing each Tangible Output of the project 

Output 2- Learning training guide for basic skills of people working in touristic industry, 

Output 3- Learning training guide for learning basic signs, in the field of tourism, 

Output 4- Learning training guide for trainers focusing on touristic industry basics, international signs and use of created game-tool, 

Output 5- TOUR FR(I)END phygital Serious Game. 

In each Output you can see the details of what it will include as well as the specific target groups it concerns. In the last section of the Guide you can sneak peek on how the partners will reassure the Quality of each Output using Formative and Summative Assessment.
